A Multi-Layered Commercial Epic: Dhanush & Amaran Director Rajkumar Periasamy's #D55 Titled OM: Chapter 1
The anticipation surrounding National Award-winning star Dhanush’s 55th film has reached a fever pitch. In a grand media event held in Chennai, the makers officially unveiled the title of this massive action project as OM: Chapter 1.
Following the blockbuster success of Amaran, director Rajkumar Periasamy is helming this high-octane commercial drama. Jointly produced by Wunderbar Films and R Take Studios, the film brings together a power-packed pan-Indian ensemble, including Sai Pallavi, Sreeleela, and Malayalam megastar Mammootty in a pivotal role.
"More Than Just a Title" – Director Rajkumar Periasamy
Addressing the press, director Rajkumar Periasamy revealed that the title video was designed to introduce Dhanush’s character concept rather than serve as a simple poster launch.
"We have titled the film 'OM: Chapter 1'. This is far more than a spiritual title—it carries multiple layers of meaning and intrigue that audiences will gradually unravel as we reveal more. Having wrapped up our first shooting schedule smoothly, I can confidently say this journey is shaping up into something truly special for all of us."
