Mystical & Unsettling: Rohith Nara’s Psychological Horror Drama Titled Kapaali; Spooky First Look Out!
On the occasion of hero Rohith Nara’s birthday, the makers of his upcoming psychological horror thriller dropped a major update. Director Raam Ganni and the team officially announced the film’s title as Kapaali (meaning "The One Who Wears a Skull"), accompanying the reveal with a haunting first-look poster.
Co-starring Hansika Motwani as the female lead, the film is presented by Vijay Krishna Lingamaneni and produced jointly by Kalyana Chakravarthy Manthina and Bhanu Kiran Pratapa under the Sapta Aswa Media Works banner.
An Eerie Poster Loaded with Occult Imagery
The newly released first look sets a dark, atmospheric tone for the project. Rohith Nara commands attention with an intense, battle-tested gaze aimed upward—suggesting a high-stakes battle against an unseen force. Twisted tree branches rise crown-like from his head, while ancient, circular occult symbols glow behind him.
Adding a chilling touch to the foreground is a sinister female figure with glowing red eyes, flanked by armed police officers and a transport vehicle parked over a ritualistic circle. The tagline, "A Journey Into The Unknown," hints at a story where law enforcement gets drawn into an uncontrollable paranormal web.
Police Procedural Meets Paranormal Horror
Set against a grounded police backdrop infused with dark folklore, Kapaali promises an edge-of-the-seat theatrical experience that blends crime investigation with psychological horror.
With post-production and filming progressing smoothly, the producers plan to reveal the remaining cast and music crew in upcoming promotional drops.
