Yuva Samrat Naga Chaitanya’s Acclaimed Supernatural Thriller Dhootha 2 Launched with an Auspicious Puja Ceremony
Following the monumental global success of his digital debut, Yuva Samrat Naga Chaitanya is officially returning to the dark, psychological world of his hit web series. The highly anticipated second season, Dhootha 2, was formally greenlit today with a traditional puja muhurtham ceremony.
Stepping up the production scale, the project is being jointly bankrolled by premier production houses Annapurna Studios and NorthStar Entertainment Pvt. Ltd. in collaboration with Sharrath Marar. In a major professional transition, Naga Chaitanya is also stepping into the shoes of a producer for the very first time within this franchise. The upcoming supernatural thriller series will stream exclusively on Amazon Prime upon completion.

Riding high on a wave of mainstream success following the blockbuster reception of Thandel and with Vrushakarma locked for release, Naga Chaitanya has prioritised Dhootha 2 as his immediate focus.
The Creative Vision: Master storyteller Vikram K Kumar, whose complex narrative design was hailed as the backbone of the original season, returns to write and direct the sequel. The filmmaker has reportedly structured a far more intense, psychological, and deeply immersive script packed with elevated supernatural stakes and darker investigative mysteries.
To drive the intricate human drama forward, the project retains its elite core cast. Powerhouse performers Parvathy Thiruvothu and Priya Bhavani Shankar have officially signed on to return in pivotal, multi-layered character arcs that will square off against the protagonist's journey.
