A Ferocious Twist of Divine Mysticism: Sudheer Anand Looks Ruggedly Intense in Birthday Poster for ‘Hai Lesso’; Hyderabad Schedule Wrapped
The celebratory wave for versatile star Sudheer Anand (popularly known as Sudigaali Sudheer) continues to deliver massive surprises for cinephiles. Marking his landmark fifth film as a lead protagonist, the official title and a striking special birthday poster for his upcoming project, "Hai Lesso," have been unveiled.
The movie serves as the grand directorial debut of filmmaker Prasan Kumar Kota and marks the maiden production venture of Siva Cherry and Ravikiran under their newly floated Vajra Varahi Cinemas banner.
A Violent Fusion of Devotion and Gritty Action
The newly dropped character poster moves completely away from Sudheer’s established soft, urban imagery, opting for an unpolished, fiercely mass-centric aesthetic:
-
The Visual Design: Set against a striking temple backdrop, the poster captures Sudheer in a raw, rugged avatar, holding a massive, blood-stained ritual sword adorned with bells. With his face partially concealed in shadows, the visual oozes deep-rooted mystery.
-
The Contrast: Flanked by a haunting row of traditional festival performers wielding machetes, the imagery seamlessly blends divine mysticism with hard-edged action, generating immediate curiosity regarding the film’s core plot line.
A Terrifying New Villain and Stellar Ensemble
Hai Lesso is structured as an intense rural drama centered around a deeply rooted folk backdrop. In a massive casting coup, popular actor Shivaji steps into a negative role, playing the primary antagonist opposite Sudheer for the very first time.
The project also boasts a refreshing and highly talented ensemble lineup:
-
Female Leads: Natasha Singh and Naksha Saran have been signed to play the leading ladies.
-
Supporting Grid: Kannada actress Akshara Gowda plays a narrative-shifting character, supported by seasoned performers Motta Rajendran, Getup Srinu, and Bevara Duhitha Saranya.
Hyderabad Schedule Completed; Units Move to Eluru
The makers shared a critical production update, confirming that a major 25-day Hyderabad schedule has been completed. This extensive block covered vital talkie portions, a major song sequence, and high-budget, vibrant Jathara folk festival episodes. The production unit is now packing bags for a grueling 40-day schedule in Eluru, which will effectively wrap up the film's entire principal photography.
On the technical front, Hai Lesso features an elite crew. The rustic, energetic soundtrack is being scored by music director Anudeep Dev, while cinematography is handled by Sujatha Siddarth. Sharp editing will be executed by Chota K Prasad, paired with rich setups by production designer Brahma Kadali. The story is penned by Chintha Srinivas.
Aiming for a grand theatrical arrival by the end of this year, the film is being carefully mounted for a multilingual release, targeting a simultaneous rollout across Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam markets.
