With the magnum opus 'RRR' getting shortlisted in the final nomination race for the prestigious Oscars in the best song category, there's praise for the team of this film from all quarters. The surprising praise has come from Oscar winning Indian technician Resul Pookutty.
He won the Oscar for Best Sound Engineering for 'Slumdog Millionaire' film and recently he stoked controversy when he said that, according to him, 'RRR' is a clear gay friendship film. This rattled many including M M Keravani who all gave a strong reply to him then.
Now Resul wished the entire team all the best and congratulated them on this latest laurel. Music director Keeravani also replied saying thank you. While many in the West trolled RRR as a gay movie that was not given much attention, an Indian giving the same tag to the film upset many Indians and especially Telugu people and the RRR team.
