Under the presentation of Zee Studios, the upcoming film Rakasa is produced by Niharika Konidela and Umesh Kumar Bansal under the Pink Elephant Pictures banner. Directed by Manasa Sharma, the movie stars the dynamic duo Sangeeth Shobhan and Nayan Sarika in the lead roles. Following the massive buzz generated by its glimpses, teaser, and trailer, the team held a grand Pre-Release Event on Monday ahead of its theatrical debut on April 3, 2026.
A Producer’s Vision: Niharika Konidela’s Commitment to New Talent
Producer Niharika Konidela expressed her pride in introducing fresh voices to the industry. She addressed critics who questioned her choices, stating her firm belief in her creative path.
"People questioned why I worked with so many newcomers for Committee Kurrollu or why I’m doing Rakasa now. Some even ask why I work with family members for Bari. My answer is simple: I will continue to do what I love and learn from every film," Niharika shared. "My goal is for everyone who works at Pink Elephant Pictures to achieve their dreams—owning a home, a car, and spending time with family. Rakasa is an honest, 100% effort that will thoroughly entertain audiences from start to finish."
The Team's Confidence: Sangeeth Shobhan and Nayan Sarika
