The creative minds behind cult hits like Colour Photo and Baby are back with their next ambitious project, Chennai Love Story. Featuring Kiran Abbavaram and Sri Gouri Priya, the film is being produced by SKN and Sai Rajesh under the banners of Amrutha Productions and Mass Movie Makers. The grand launch of the first single, "Gurthundha," was held recently in Hyderabad, attended by the star-studded cast and crew.

A Musical Masterpiece by Mani Sharma

The event was a tribute to the "Melody Brahma," Mani Sharma, who has composed seven tracks for the film.

The Song: "Gurthundha" is described by the team as a career-best for both the music director and choreographer Vijay Polaki.
The Lyrics: Ananta Sriram revealed that the song was born out of a seamless, ego-free collaboration, where the music and lyrics were crafted to perfectly mirror the film's emotional core.
The Visuals: DOP Vishwas Daniel and the cast highlighted the dedication behind the song, including a three-hour shoot on a freezing beach to capture the perfect frame.

From the Visionaries of "Baby"

Producer SKN and Director-Producer Sai Rajesh emphasized that this project isn't about commercial rushing but about honest storytelling.

"After the massive success of Baby, we wanted to create something even more profound," said Sai Rajesh. "I wrote this story with immense love, and director Ravi Namburi has brought it to life better than I ever imagined. I couldn't hold back tears while watching the rushes."

Kiran Abbavaram, who recently scored a hit with KA, stated that he was instantly drawn to the "settled" nature of his character. He praised the producers for their uncompromising passion, noting that nearly one crore was spent on the set for this single song alone.

Technical Excellence & Release Update

The film is being produced with high-end Dolby sound technology to provide a concert-like experience in theaters. While the team originally eyed a June 26 release, they have decided to move the date to avoid a clash with Ram Charan’s upcoming big-budget film. A new release date will be announced shortly.
