Directors’ Association Unveils Musical Tracks of "Google My Friend": A Multilingual Spectacle Set for Telugu and Marathi Release

In a grand event organized by the Telugu Directors’ Association, the musical numbers for the upcoming film Google My Friend were officially launched. Starring Pranav Rao Rani and Prajakta Gaikwad, the film is produced by Diwakar Reddy under the Dollars Media and Entertainment banner. Directed by the seasoned filmmaker Govind Varaha, known for his work across various Indian languages, the movie is gearing up for a simultaneous theatrical release in Telugu and Marathi.

The launch was graced by an elite panel of filmmakers, including VN Aditya (President of the Directors’ Association), Sai Rajesh, V. Samudra, Sailesh Kolanu, and Konda Vijay Kumar, who collectively unveiled the tracks and teaser.

Industry Stalwarts Applaud the Vision

Speaking at the event, the guest directors expressed their confidence in the project's success:

  • Sai Rajesh: "The content we’ve seen today for Google My Friend is incredibly promising. Producing a film in both Telugu and Marathi simultaneously is a commendable feat. I wish Govind great fame and the producer significant success with this release."

  • VN Aditya: "Govind Varaha is a versatile director who has mastered the art of multilingual storytelling. I sincerely hope this film paves the way for him to create even more Pan-India projects."

  • V. Samudra: "It is a proud moment for our Directors’ Association members to come together for this launch. We are all blessing this film to achieve success across every language it reaches."

  • Konda Vijay Kumar: "Much like the legendary Ramanaidu Garu, who aimed to produce films in every Indian language, Govind is treading a similar path by working in Telugu, Malayalam, Odia, and Marathi. I wish him a resounding victory."

A Director’s Homecoming

Director Govind Varaha, who has previously helmed Telugu films like Baala and Manushulatho Jagratha, shared his emotional connection to the industry:

"I have worked extensively in Malayalam and Marathi, and at times, I felt I was drifting away from the Telugu industry. Google My Friend is my way of reconnecting with my roots. Launching these songs in the presence of my 'family'—the Directors’ Association—is a true honor. My journey is only possible because of the unwavering support of my producers, and I plan to continue making back-to-back films in Telugu from here on."

The film is co-produced by T. Venkatesh Reddy and B. Prasannanjaneyulu, with a technical team dedicated to bringing this cross-cultural story to life.
