Following the 2017 blockbuster success of Maragadha Mani (titled Maragadha Naanayam in Tamil), which enchanted audiences with its unique blend of supernatural mystery and comedy, the much-anticipated sequel has officially hit the floors. Maragadha Mani 2 commenced production on February 16, 2026, coinciding with the auspicious festival of Maha Shivaratri.
A grand pooja ceremony was held in Chennai to mark the occasion, attended by several big names from the industry who came to offer their blessings to the team.
A Star-Studded Launch
The event was graced by prominent stars and filmmakers, adding a festive vibe to the production's start:
