It has been quite a while since the young hero Sundeep Kishan was seen on screen and now he is back with a rather extravagant project titled 'Michael'. The film boasts of an extraordinary star cast in the form of Vijay Sethupathy, Gautham Menon and the trailer is out. So here's what the viewers have to say.
At the outset, the technical standards of the film are quite good and the plotline seems to be intriguing. The film scores well in terms of characters essayed by Vijay, Gautham and even Varun Sandesh. The camerawork and the tone of the film look apt for the storyline.
On the flip side, the background score is not engaging and even the trailer doesn't seem to have that sharp finish. As for Sundeep's performance, he is somehow showing the same blank expressions and it is missing the finesse he showed in 'Prasthaanam'. Overall, the trailer works well at a technical and story level but how engaging and strong is the hook factor, we will know on February 3rd.
