'Kanchu Kanakamalakshmi' Launched with Song Recording on Vijayadashami

The principal film unit of 'Kanchu Kanakamalakshmi,' a new movie under the Yuvan Touring Talkies banner, officially commenced the project with a formal puja and song recording ceremony on the auspicious day of Vijayadashami. The film is directed by Ganesh Agasthya.

Cast and Crew Introductions

The film introduces Mallika Shankar, Kishore Rao, Gautam Nanda, and Amitha Sri as the lead actors and actresses. The music recording started under the supervision of music director Ajay Patnaik.

The film is jointly produced by Virendranath Kolukula, Bharat Atluri, Brundakar Goud, Rajesh Gangunayuni, Ganapathi Naidu Seera, and Kondala Rao Chukkala.

Producers Announce New Syndicate

The producers, speaking at the launch, announced a new collaborative journey: "We—Virendranath Kolukula, Bharat Atluri, Brundakar Goud, Rajesh Gangunayuni, Ganapathi Naidu Seera, and Kondala Rao Chukkala—have formed a syndicate with the resolution to produce three films annually."

They stated that 'Kanchu Kanakamalakshmi' is their first film under this new venture, and their second project will be 'Boy Besties,' which will introduce a new director named Rudra.

Director Ganesh Agasthya

Ganesh Agasthya revealed that 'Kanchu Kanakamalakshmi' is a crime thriller and expressed confidence that the screenplay will appeal strongly to everyone. "We started the film with a song recording under Ajay Patnaik's music direction on Vijayadashami. We plan to begin shooting on the 10th of this month with a 28-day schedule planned across Vizianagaram, Pattiseema, and Araku, followed by a shoot in Hyderabad surroundings."

Ajay Patnaik informed the media that the film will feature a total of four songs. He believes the title track, 'Kanchu Kanakamalakshmi', will resonate strongly with the audience, and they are using a famous singer for the audio.

Heroine Mallika Shankar

Mallika Shankar, making her debut, thanked the director for the opportunity. She praised Ajay Patnaik’s music and stated that her character is excellent. "I am confident that this film will be a super hit."
Heroine Amitha Sri

Amitha Sri, marking her second film, also thanked the director. She described her character as very interesting and noted that the story is fresh, with great suspense and twists.
