Actor Dolly Dhananjaya and Sapthami Gowda star in the historical project 'Halagali,' which is being directed by Sukesh Nayak and produced by Kalyan Chakravarthi Dhulipalla, with Yarlagadda Lakshmi Srinivas as the presenter. The film, which is being made in two parts, is being shot in Kannada, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Hindi. The makers launched a glimpse of the film at a grand press meet, which presented Dhananjaya in a commanding and impactful avatar.

A Historical Story Worth Telling

At the press meet, actor Dolly Dhananjaya shared his excitement about the project. "I am grateful for the love shown by the Telugu audience. It's an honor for me to be part of the untold story of Halagali, which is a great emotion in Karnataka. The producers, Kalyan and director Sukesh, are making this project with a lot of passion. When I heard the story, I immediately felt I had to be a part of it. I'm happy that you all liked the glimpse. There will be more crazy updates coming soon. This film will definitely be a great experience and meet everyone's expectations."

Actress Sapthami Gowda also expressed her honor at being part of the film. "This is a very important chapter in history. My character's glimpse will be released soon. It's a very mass character. This is the story of our land, and the director has written it wonderfully. This is my second film with Dhananjaya, and it's a joy to share the screen with him. I'm sure this film will entertain all of you."

A Two-Part Epic

Producer Kalyan Chakravarthi shared his confidence in the project, saying, "We gained full confidence when we finalized the hero's look. We felt we had succeeded in the first step itself. The history of Halagali is a very important chapter. The freedom struggle they waged against the British is memorable. This is part of the 10th-grade curriculum in Kannada. We got goosebumps while researching this story. We decided then that this story couldn't be told in one part; it had to be a two-part epic."

Director Sukesh Nayak added, "We have completed 40% of the shooting. This story has a great history behind it, which is why we're bringing it out in two parts. This film will give audiences a great theatrical experience."
