After a decade-long hiatus from directing, SJ Suryah is set to make a powerful return behind the camera with his new pan-India film titled 'Killer.' Known for his unique storytelling and compelling screen presence, Suryah will not only direct but also star in the lead role, while personally crafting the story, screenplay, and dialogues.
'Killer' is being mounted on a significant scale, marking a powerful partnership between Suryah’s own production house, Angel Studios, and Sree Gokulam Movies, led by experienced producer Gokulam Gopalan. The film is co-produced by V. C. Praveen and Baiju Gopalan, with Krishnamoorthy serving as Executive Producer.
Adding immense prestige to the project, Academy Award-winning music director AR Rahman has come on board to score the music for 'Killer.' His inclusion underscores the film's ambitious scope and the anticipated significance of its musical landscape. This collaboration marks the fifth time SJ Suryah and AR Rahman have worked together, following their successful ventures in Naani, New, Anbe Aaruyire, and Puli.
'Killer' is planned as a large-scale film, designed to connect with audiences across India. It will be released in five languages, aiming for a broad pan-Indian reach.
