After a considerable hiatus, the Telangana Gaddar Film Awards are making a triumphant return, poised to become a landmark event for the Telugu film industry. Under the visionary leadership of Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, the Telangana government is reviving this prestigious tradition to honor and encourage the exceptional talent of actors and technicians. The grand ceremony is scheduled to light up the HITEX Exhibition Center in Hyderabad on June 14th.

These meticulously organized awards will recognize outstanding films, performances, and technical contributions from 2024. In a unique initiative, the government will also present awards to three top films from each year between June 2014 and December 31, 2023, selected from films that received censor certification during this period. The highly anticipated list of winners has already been announced, building a wave of excitement across the industry.

The HITEX venue is undergoing lavish preparations, transforming into a magnificent stage for the event. The Telangana government is orchestrating elaborate arrangements to ensure the awards ceremony is conducted with the utmost grandeur and prestige, with over 6,000 attendees expected to witness this spectacular celebration.

Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, Deputy CM Bhatti Vikramarka, Cinematography Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy, and FDC Chairman Dil Raju are personally overseeing all necessary arrangements to guarantee the event's seamless execution and resounding success. The entire Telugu film fraternity, alongside several prominent political figures, is expected to grace the occasion, promising a star-studded night of glamour and glory at HITEX on June 14th.

Addressing a press conference regarding the awards, FDC Chairman and renowned producer Dil Raju highlighted the significance of the event. "This awards ceremony, being presented by the state government after 14 years, will be held grandly at HITEX on June 14th," he stated. "It is the film industry's responsibility to ensure the success of this program. The event will be broadcast live via I&PR, as the government is determined for it to reach a worldwide audience, starting at 6 PM."

Raju elaborated on the unique award structure: "For films released from 2014 to 2023, we are selecting three best films from each year. We will be presenting awards to the hero, heroine, director, and producer of these selected films. We are introducing such a positive tradition with the Gaddar Film Awards." He also confirmed that awards for the best films and technical professionals of 2024 will also be presented. "I request everyone from the Telugu film industry to attend this event, which is happening after 14 years, and make it a grand success," he appealed.

The reintroduction of the Gaddar Awards has been met with widespread appreciation from award winners, film celebrities, and Telugu cinema audiences, who have lauded the Telangana government for recognizing and honoring their talent on such a prestigious platform.
