Ritu Varma Praises 'Devika & Danny' as an Inspiring Series for Women; Streams June 6th on Jio Hotstar

Jio Hotstar is set to premiere its new Hotstar Specials web series, 'Devika & Danny,' starting June 6th. This much-anticipated series, featuring Ritu Varma, Surya Vasistta, Siva Kandukuri, and Subbaraju in pivotal roles, aims to deliver top-notch entertainment with a powerful, inspiring message for women. Directed by B. Kishore and produced by Sudhakar Chaganti under the Joy Films banner, the team recently held a press meet in Hyderabad to discuss the project.

Lead actress Ritu Varma expressed her long-held desire for a unique web series: "I had been waiting for something truly out-of-the-box, and the sincere, heartfelt story of 'Devika & Danny' felt like a stroke of good luck. I'm incredibly thankful to our producer Sudhakar Garu for his trust in such a narrative and for launching Joy Films with a commitment to quality. I hope we continue to make many more meaningful projects. Director Kishore Garu is a delight to work with, incredibly focused, and our cinematographer Venkat Dilip is a true perfectionist, evident in the meticulous visuals."
