Hyderabad, Telangana – May 31, 2025 – The upcoming film 'Meghalu Cheppina Prema Katha,' starring young hero Naresh Agastya, unveiled its pleasant teaser today. Produced by Umadevi Kota under Sunetra Entertainment Private Limited and directed by Vypin, this content-rich musical romantic drama promises a truly heartfelt experience. Following a positive buzz generated by its first-look poster, the teaser has further heightened anticipation.
The film's narrative revolves around a talented musician who journeys to a serene mountainous region to find inspiration for a grand album. There, he encounters a young woman, and their shared path unfolds into a touching bond on screen. The teaser concludes with a lighthearted moment where the hero playfully asks the heroine if she's seen the eloped couple, adding a charming touch that captivated the audience.
Naresh Agastya seamlessly embodies his character, while Rabia Khatoon brings a lively energy to her role. Veteran actress Radhika Sarathkumar adds significant strength and value to the story. Director Vypin has chosen a beautiful love story set against a stunning mountainous backdrop, where music plays a pivotal role. Cinematographer Mohana Krishna beautifully captures the natural scenic beauty, and music director Justin Prabhakaran's score is magical. The dialogues are impactful, and the contributions of art director Thota Tharani and editor Marthand K. Venkatesh are commendable. The teaser has undoubtedly intensified curiosity for the film's grand theatrical release.
At the teaser launch event, director Vypin shared, "Greetings to everyone. This is a very clean entertainer that will leave you with a good feeling. In our film, we have the great musician Prince Rama Varma, a descendant of the Travancore royal family, in an important guest role. He renounced his royalty to study music for 18 years under Mangalampalli. Such a special person has sung and acted in our film. There's a song in it that uses no musical instruments, only natural voices. I believe it will be a very rare song. This is a beautiful story set in Valparai, a beautiful location where no one has ever shot before. I'm confident you will all love it."
Music director Justin Prabhakaran added, "Greetings to everyone. Thank you to our producer and director. The film has turned out wonderfully, and I personally loved it. I believe you all will too. The songs have come out beautifully, and we will release them soon. We have created a song using only natural sounds, and I'm sure everyone will enjoy it."
DOP Mohan Krishna said, "Greetings to everyone. We have shot the film very well. Please watch and enjoy it."
Producer Umadevi Kota spoke passionately about her journey: "Greetings to everyone. Since childhood, I loved writing stories and even won awards for them in magazines. Life settled with studies and marriage, but the passion for writing stories remained. With my family's support, I established this banner. It was a blessing to meet K. Viswanath Garu and Sirivennela Seetharama Sastry Garu in my life. I learned a lot from them on this journey. I established this production house with the aim of making good films. My aspiration is to produce at least five films, with each film connecting with art. That's why we prioritized music in this film. I dedicate this film to Sirivennela Seetharama Sastry Garu. This film was shot in a hill station in Coimbatore where no one has ever filmed before. My first hero for this film is music director Justin Prabhakaran; without his music, this story wouldn't exist. My second hero is Mohan Krishna Garu, who delivered amazing visuals. The third hero is Naresh Agastya, an amazing performer. Rabia Khatoon is the fourth hero of this film; she performed wonderfully. Her character has as much importance as the hero's. Radhika Sarathkumar, Tanikella Bharani, Venkatesh Kakumanu, everyone performed wonderfully. I told the director upfront that we could only make the film without public romance, blood, and foul language, and he made it very pleasant. I am confident you will all love the film."
