The highly anticipated second season of Netflix's gritty hit series "Rana Naidu" is set to unleash its most dynamic season yet, premiering on June 13th. To mark the return of "The Fixer," superstars Rana Daggubati and Arjun Rampal made a grand entrance at Hyderabad’s iconic Prasad Cinema, hosting a special celebration for eager fans.
The actors arrived with their trademark swagger, unfurling a massive poster for "Rana Naidu Season 2" and instantly setting the tone for the heightened drama to come. Fans at the event were treated to an exclusive first look at the new season, further fueling anticipation for the show's premiere.
"Season 2? It’s wild," exclaimed Rana Daggubati. "It’s bigger, and a whole lot more personal. Getting back with Netflix and the entire team of 'Rana Naidu' has been such a blast. We went deeper, got messier, and raised the stakes across the board. It’s everything you loved — turned up to eleven. The first season received a lot of love from the fans and the audience alike, and I am so glad we could extend the exclusive first look to the fans today. Having Arjun join me today for this celebration is special and means a lot. You’ll see Rana and Rauf (Arjun Rampal’s character) at loggerheads in the show, but here, in Hyderabad, I am ensuring I am the perfect host.”
Arjun Rampal shared his experience, stating, “It was tough bringing Rauf’s character to life, but the dedication and persistence of Karan Anshuman made it possible. The levity they brought to the character made it a very well-written and layered personality, whom I had a lot of fun playing. He is absolutely fearless. Rana Naidu is going to have a tough time this season, Rauf has ensured that! That was just the character I play, but personally, I've gotten along really famously with Rana through the shoot. He is an absolute delight to work with. And so is Venky. In fact, the whole cast has been brilliant. Super talented bunch.”
Rampal also commented on his collaboration with Netflix and the directorial team: “This is my first show with Netflix and I am super stoked about it. They have been involved and brought a lot to the table for the betterment of the show. This is also a first for me as I have been directed by three directors, Karan, Suparn and Abhay. They are poles apart as individuals but at the same time in complete sync with each other.
