NTR Trust Managing Trustee, Mrs. Nara Bhuvaneshwari, announced the organization of a 3K, 5K, and 10K run on May 8th at RK Beach Road in Visakhapatnam to support thalassemia patients. She urged everyone to participate in the run and show solidarity with those affected by thalassemia. This announcement was made during a press meet.
Speaking at the press meet, Nara Bhuvaneshwari said, "I sincerely thank the media for accepting our invitation and attending this press meet. Special thanks to Mr. SS Thaman. On February 15th, during the musical night in Vijayawada, we promised to establish a thalassemia center. Today, I am very happy to announce the launch of a 25-bed thalassemia center for the benefit of patients suffering from this condition. Children affected by this disease require monthly blood transfusions, and any delay can be life-threatening. Additionally, the cost of their medication is very high. The greatest service we can offer is blood donation. I request everyone to donate blood once every four months. Through the Trust, we are undertaking various initiatives in education, healthcare, disaster management, and employment generation. To support thalassemia patients, we are organizing a 3K, 5K, and 10K run on May 8th at RK Beach Road in Visakhapatnam. Let's participate in this run and assure thalassemia patients that we stand by them. One run can bring light into hundreds of lives. I am ready to run many kilometers for them. I request all of you to get ready and participate in this run. Thank you all."
