Acclaimed director Sukumar, the visionary behind the global sensation "Pushpa" and its highly anticipated sequel, has officially launched the lyrical video for the song "Apanna TannaManna" from the upcoming film "Dooradarshini."
Starring Suvikshith Bojja and Geethika Ratan in the lead roles, "Dooradarshini" is helmed by director Karthikeya Kommi and produced by B. Sai Pratap Reddy and Jaya Shankar Reddy under the Varaha Movie Makers banner. Currently in its post-production phase, the film promises a heartwarming love story set against the evocative backdrop of the 1990s.
Following the positive reception of the title teaser and the earlier lyrical video "Naanidda Velluthundaa," the newly released "Apanna TannaManna" is also striking a chord with audiences. Beautifully sung by Sindhuj and Srinivasan, the song features heartfelt lyrics penned by Suresh Banisetti, all set to the melodious composition of Anand Gururaj.
Speaking at the launch event, director Sukumar shared a personal connection with the film's lead, stating, "The film’s hero Suvikshith once farmed in the paddy fields just like me—that’s how I first got to know him. He is truly passionate about cinema. This song is beautiful, and I wish the film great success. It deserves to be a big hit and must bring recognition to everyone involved."
Expressing his excitement, hero Suvikshith Bojja said, "It’s an honour and a matter of pride to have our song launched by my favourite and most admired director Sukumar. 'Dooradarshini' will transport audiences back to the 1990s, rekindling their memories and personal love stories. This newly released lyrical video will surely touch hearts. Set in the ’90s backdrop, the film authentically reflects the period through its cast, locations, and execution. Our director has conducted in-depth research for the film. I’m confident everyone will thoroughly enjoy this film."
"Dooradarshini" also features a supporting cast including Bhadram, Krishna Reddy, Kittayya, Chalapathi Raju, Gemini Suresh, G. Bhaskar, Lavanya Reddy, and Teja Chitturu. The story is penned by Narayan Aavula, with dialogues by Kakarla Charan and Lakshman K. J.
