"Triguni" Cleared for Release: Human Sacrifice Horror Thriller Promises a Unique Telugu Cinema Experience
MMW banner's second cinematic offering, "Triguni," produced by Smt. Maheswari, is officially ready to hit Telugu screens after successfully completing its censor formalities. Directed by Vaitahavya Vadlamani, with Rudrapatla Venugopal overseeing the project, the film stars Kushal and Prerana Choudhary in the lead roles.
This chilling horror-thriller, delving into the dark theme of human sacrifices, has received a U/A certificate from the censor board, accompanied by positive feedback from its members. Notably, the entire film was shot against the captivating backdrop of Madhya Pradesh, with significant support from the Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board. The "Triguni" team specifically acknowledged the invaluable assistance of Smt. Bidisha Mukherjee (AMD, Madhya Pradesh Tourism Department), Sri Ram Tiwari (Deputy Director), and other dedicated officials. Director Vaitahavya highlighted how the state's scenic locales, talented local actors, and unique cultural elements have infused the film with a fresh and distinctive cinematic flavor.
Following the success of their debut film "Arangetram," the MMW team is optimistic that "Triguni" will resonate with Telugu audiences with the same enthusiasm. Producer Smt. Maheswari expressed her strong belief that the film will leave a lasting impression. The narrative centers on a contemporary young couple's courageous fight against deeply rooted superstitions that demand human sacrifices, even within their own families. Screenwriter Vamsi assured that the film's gripping storyline will keep viewers on the edge of their seats from the very beginning until the final scene.
