Chitralayam Studios, under the vision of producer Venu Donepudi, has unveiled its ambitious pan-India project, "Ramam," coinciding with the auspicious occasion of Sri Rama Navami. The film, carrying the intriguing tagline "The Rise of Akira," is set to deliver a powerful narrative inspired by the timeless ideals of Lord Rama.

"Ramam" aims to resonate with audiences nationwide by portraying a contemporary hero's journey, echoing Lord Rama's fight to establish dharma. This epic tale will introduce a previously untold story of a formidable warrior, promising a fresh perspective on heroism.

Venu Donepudi is launching the directorial career of Lokamanya, a talented filmmaker with experience working alongside leading directors. "Ramam" is being developed with a substantial budget and international production values, reflecting the studio's commitment to creating a cinematic spectacle.

The film's title and motion poster were released on Sri Rama Navami, a day of immense significance for Indians, symbolizing the triumph of good over evil. Producer Venu Donepudi emphasized the film's connection to the ideals of Rama Rajya, stating, "Lord Rama's name is a guiding mantra for our nation. 'Ramam' will explore these ideals in a contemporary context, presenting a unique and compelling story."

The production team is committed to upholding the highest international technical standards. A rising Tollywood star will headline the film, alongside a stellar cast and crew from across India. Pre-production is currently underway, with filming scheduled to commence shortly.
