This highly anticipated prequel to the 2022 blockbuster "Kantara" is a period fantasy action film set during the Kadambas of Banavasi. Rishab Shetty is set to reprise his lead role, this time as a Naga Sadhu possessing extraordinary powers.
Produced on a grand scale by the "Salaar" makers, Hombale Films, "Kantara: Chapter 1" boasts a stellar technical team, including B. Ajaneesh Loknath for music and Arvind S. Kashyap as cinematographer. While the rest of the cast remains under wraps, the film's promise of delving deeper into the Panjurli Deiva mythology has fans eagerly awaiting its release.
