The heist comedy entertainer "Robinhood," starring Nithin and Sreeleela, is directed by Venky Kudumula and produced by Mythri Movie Makers on a high budget. Veteran actor Rajendra Prasad plays a key role, and Australian cricketer David Warner makes a special appearance. The already released promotional content has generated significant buzz, and GV Prakash Kumar's music has become a chartbuster. The film is set for release on March 28th. A press meet was held on this occasion.
Speaking at the press meet, hero Nithin said, "Hello everyone. We've seen the final copy of Robinhood and are very happy. I was confident during the making, and I'm equally confident after seeing the final product. This film is going to be even better than Bheeshma. It releases on March 28th, and I'm confident the audience will love it. I'm eagerly waiting for their response."
Director Venky Kudumula said, "Hello everyone. We worked very hard on the film, and it's releasing the day after tomorrow. We've seen the final output and are very happy. We believe the audience will make it a huge blockbuster."
Producer Y. Ravi Shankar said, "Hello everyone. The film has completed all formalities, and the publicity has reached the audience well. It's a fun entertainer, and the audience will definitely enjoy it."
During the Q&A session, the film unit answered questions from the media.
Nithin, what is your character like in this film?
"My character is a big manipulator, very smart-minded. It's more about mental strength than physical strength. This is the first time I'm playing such a character. The climax, with its twists and turns, is very fresh. My character is very street-smart and intellectual, even more so than in Bheeshma."
Venky, you've emphasized entertainment in the promotions, but the censor talk mentions strong emotions. Why hide the emotions?
"The film is coated with fun, like a sugar coating, but the soul of any film is emotion. Those emotional sequences worked out very well. You have to see them on the big screen. Those who have seen it so far have praised it highly."
Venky, what kind of magic did Warner bring to the film?
"We wanted an international star for a cameo, and Warner was perfect. Producer Ravi worked hard to arrange a meeting, and Warner liked the narration. We have an Australian episode in the film, and we shot his cameo there. The magic will be revealed in theaters. Telling you now would spoil the surprise. Audiences will definitely enjoy it."
Ravi, ticket prices are high in some places. Will this affect the film?
"No, 95% of the ticket prices are the old rates. Only in a few malls is there a small change, and it's still affordable. No one should feel they couldn't watch the film because of ticket prices."
Nithin, what can the audience expect from this film?
"This film has great entertainment, emotion, and a heart-touching point. The climax is excellent. The audience will have a fresh experience."
Nithin, how was it working with Sreeleela?
"This is my second film with Sreeleela. She's very sweet. The shooting went smoothly. I'd like to work with her again in the future."
Ravi, four films are releasing this week. Would a solo release have been better?
"In today's competitive world, you can't expect a solo release. We initially expected only one film, but two dubbed films came along. We didn't anticipate this. Everyone has their own films, dates, and commitments. We have to go in with the mindset that competition is inevitable."
Ravi, Mythri's biggest hit was Rangasthalam. Did you choose this release date because of that sentiment?
"Rangasthalam was the first summer release. This film is also the first summer release. There's definitely that advantage. Exams are over, and the youth are looking for entertainment. We hope this film creates the same magic as Rangasthalam."
Nithin, how was it working with Mythri Movie Makers?
"Very happy. Mythri Movie Makers is one of the biggest production houses in India. We believe our film will enhance their reputation."
