Dhruva Vaayu of 'Kerosine' fame is doing 'Kalinga' currently. Billed as a concept-based film, it is directed by the hero himself. Producers Deepthi Kondaveeti and Pruthivi Yadav of Big Hit Productions have stated that their movie has been in much demand from distributors.
For one, the release rights to 'Kalinga' in the Middle-East countries have been secured by Phars Films. "The response has been encouraging from distribution circles. Our movie's Teaser, among other things, has fuelled curiosity in trade. The Hindi version's rights, too, are in much demand," the producers claimed.
A screenplay-driven fictional drama, the film's key highlights are going to be performances and background music. "The plan is to kick off aggressive promotions," the makers said.
Starring Pragya Nayan as the female lead, the film also features Adukalam Naren. With music by Vishnu Sekhara and Anantha Narayanan AG, the film has cinematography by Akshay Ram Podishetti. Edited by Naresh Venuvanka, the movie also features Muralidhar Goud, Lakshman Meesala, Thanikella Bharani, Shiju AR, Sammeta Gandhi, Balgam Sudhakar, Sanjay Krishna, and Harishchandra.
