There are rumors that he and his wife, Upasana, are interested in buying a team to represent the state of Andhra Pradesh in the IPL T20, which is scheduled for 2024. The proposed team would be based in Vizag.
Ram Charan is said to be taking an interest in owning an IPL team as part of his business ventures, along with his involvement in movies and other investments.
