Tamil superstar Thalapathy Vijay has acted in some noteworthy remakes. This week, Telugu movie buffs have been trolling him for not matching up to Mahesh Babu's talent and charisma in 'Ghilli', the Tamil remake of 'Okkadu'. Mahesh Babu's fans feel that Vijay was laughable in 'Pokkiri', the Tamil remake of 'Pokiri'.
Pawan Kalyan's fans, on their part, are saying that the Tamil 'Kushi' (2000) was nothing compared to the Telugu 'Kushi' (2001) even though the former was the first to be made by director SJ Suryah. 'Thammudu' was remade as 'Badri' by Vijay. His swag and other aspects were no match to those of Power Star, fanboys are saying.
Vijay's acting style has been roasted like anything by Netizens. This is happening at a time when Telugu directors like Vamsi Paidipally (and rumouredly now Gopichand Malineni) and producers like Dil Raju are making attempts to increase Vijay's market range in Telugu.
