The tough taskmaster S S Rajamouli's magnum opus RRR has gone global with critical acclaim but when it comes to collections tally it hasn't crossed KGF Chapter 2 at the worldwide box office.
KGF Chapter 2 earned about 1230 crores worldwide securing a third position among the highest-grossing Indian films worldwide, after Dangal that made 1899 crores and Baahubali 2: The Conclusion which had earned 1800 crores.
Although the recent collections in Japan added another 45 crores to RRR's worldwide tally, the film has touched 1189 crores and might reach 1200 crores in its lifetime, and this still falls short of KGF Chapter 2.
