Natural Star Nani who is eager to score success for a while is now pinning his hopes on the movie 'Dasara' and it appears that the first step has fallen on the right track. The teaser of the film generated a major buzz and many went ga ga over the hardcore mass look of Nani. Now, another update has come regarding the film's business.
It is heard that producer Sudhakar Cherukuri had sold the theatrical rights to a third party for 23 crores and that party in turn sold it to Dil Raju for 28 crores. While the film has been made at a budget of 70 crores, the makers are confident that they will get back their investment with sizable profits after looking at the response to the teaser. In all this, the producer has reportedly taken a decision.
Buzz is that Sudhakar is now keen to buy back the theatrical rights and discussions are already happening. Of course, he would have seen the proceedings of the film during shooting but some are saying it is better to play a safe game rather than taking such a huge gamble of buying back and then waiting for the outcome. If Sudhakar's move works, his fortunes will be decided on March 30th when the film hits the screens.
