Just a few days ago we had reported how singer Mangli was attacked by a few people in Chikballapur as they maintained how she didn't greet the audience in Kannada. Before that incident is forgotten, another mishap has occurred and this time, the target was Bollywood singer Kailash Kher.

Though he hails from Bollywood, Kailash has a significant presence in the south as he has rendered his voice for many numbers in Telugu, Tamil and other languages. He was part of the prestigious 'Hampi Utsav' which sees the participation of artists across various fields. As he was performing onstage, this embarrassing incident happened.

Two youths started shouting that Kailash must sing Kannada songs and before anyone could react, they threw water bottles at the singer. Those who were present were in for a shock. Later on, the police entered the scene and arrested the two miscreants. It is one thing to have admiration for language but resorting to such immature and rowdy acts is just not acceptable.
