Three days on, Sunday's infamous rave party in Bengaluru has turned out to be a mystery of sorts. The Internet and even the mainstream media is full of large chunks of absurd claims about which nobody has any cluce.
Many Telugu film celebs are said to have participated in the party for which there is no iota of evidence. The only Telugu film personality whose presence has been confirmed by the Bengaluru police is Hema. Politically motivated social media posts have come up in the past couple of days to tarnish the reputation of a few individuals.
The magnitude of the entry fee that has been quoted by some reports is something that has been and will forever be shrouded in mystery. A media report said that Rs 50 lakh was the entry fee for each participant. Multiply the figure with 100 attendees and you are talking about a racket. There is a theory that this figure has been conjured up out of thin air with little evidence for sensationalism. Fifty lakh is an unreal figure that only multi-millionaires would be willing to pay. And such a party would be immune to raids because of some or the other powerful person backing it.
