Telangana is all set to celebrate its 10th formation day with pomp and gaiety and in this regards Rs 120 crore has been sanctioned by the state chief minister. The celebrations will be held at the newly-opened Dr BR Ambedkar State Secretariat on Friday, June 2. Ahead of this, the Hyderabad traffic police issued a traffic advisory. Traffic diversions will be put in place as needed to ensure uninterrupted vehicle flow since moderate traffic congestion is anticipated from 6 am to 2 pm owing to vehicular movements. Additionally closed are NTR Garden, NTR Ghat, PVNR Marg, and Lumbini Park.
Traffic will not be permitted between Telugu Thalli Junction and VV Statue, Necklace Rotary, NTR Marg, and vice versa.
Traffic in route to Necklace Rotary from Khairatabad, Panjagutta, and Somajiguda will be detoured at VV Statue in the direction of Shadan College. However, Shadan and Somajiguda traffic will be temporarily suspended during VVIP movements.
The Khairatabad flyover will not be open to traffic heading towards Necklace Rotary from Nirankari and Chintalbasthi. Traffic travelling from Iqbal Minar Junction in the direction of Tank bund, Ranigunj, and Liberty will not be permitted, and instead, is being told to take the Telugu Talli flyover in the direction of Katta Maisamma Junction, Lower Tank bund.
Traffic heading towards NTR Marg from Tank Bund and Telugu Thalli will not be permitted and will be detoured to Iqbal Minar Junction at Telugu Thalli Junction. Traffic from BRKR Bhavan heading towards NTR Marg will not be permitted and will be detoured to Iqbal Minar Junction at Telugu Thalli Junction. Traffic from the Bada Ganesh lane will be redirected at Bada Ganesh towards the Imax, Necklace Rotary, and Mint Compound lanes towards Rajdoot lane.
TC Buses travelling from Afzalgunj to Secunderabad should take the Telugu Talli Flyover, Katta Maisamma, Lower Tank Bund, DBR Mills and Kavadiguda instead of the Tank Bund Road.
Aside from those mentioned above, the police also advised avoiding the intersections at VV Statue (Khairatabad), Old Saifabad PS, Ravindra Bharathi, Mint Compound Road, Telugu Talli Junction, Necklace Rotary, Nallagutta, 8. Katta Maisamma (Lower Tankbund), Tank Bund, and Liberty.
