"I Hope ‘Soul Trip’ Becomes a Massive Hit": Actor Srikanth at the Trailer Launch of the Adventurous Travel Talk Show
Soul Trip, a unique travel-based adventurous talk show, is gearing up for its digital premiere. Directed by Vijay Datla and presented by Rizwan Entertainments and P.U.N. Varma under the Gandabherunda Arts banner, the show blends celebrity heart-to-hearts with the raw beauty of nature.
The team recently hosted a grand trailer launch event in Hyderabad to celebrate the completion of the first six episodes, which feature candid conversations with stars like Jagapathi Babu, Srikanth, and Ali.
Celebrity Insights from the Event
The event saw several industry veterans sharing their experiences and praising the show’s innovative concept:
-
Srikanth: An avid traveler himself, Srikanth expressed his love for the show's focus on local cultures. "We filmed in Goa, even shooting through night rains. The idea of living according to the local culture of a place is what makes this special. I hope all six episodes of Season 1 become huge successes."
-
Ali: The veteran comedian lauded the producers' faith in director Vijay Datla. "Vijay scouted locations across Goa and Kulu Manali to introduce us to various foods and traditions. He has transitioned from an actor to a talented writer and director, and I wish him 600 more episodes of this show."
-
Shyamala Devi: Recalling the late Krishnam Raju garu’s love for traveling, she praised the natural vibe of the trailer and Vijay’s creative vision.
The Director’s Vision: Lessons from Nature
Director Vijay Datla explained that the core philosophy of Soul Trip is that humans learn the most when they connect with nature.
"Jagapathi Babu garu was the first to believe in this idea. We filmed his episode in his favorite location, Maredumilli. Since then, we’ve completed episodes with Srikanth, Ali, Shivani & Shivathmika Rajashekar, Akash Puri, and Varsha Bollamma," Vijay shared, thanking Tamada Media and his production team for their support.
