At a special event in Hyderabad's FNCC on December 13, MP Daggubati Purandeswari hailed NTR's indelible mark on Andhra Pradesh and national politics, declaring his influence irreplaceable and enduring as long as the sun and moon shine. As chief guest, she released the audio edition of the Living History of the 1984 August Democratic Protection Movement, produced by the NTR Literature Committee under chairman TDP Janardhan, with support from the Jayaprada Foundation.

The ceremony honored NTR with garlands to his statue and a rendition of 'Maa Telugu Thalliki'. Attendees included former minister Mothkupalli Narasimhulu, Nandamuri Ramakrishna, producer K.S. Rama Rao, Bollineni Krishnaiah, author Chaitanya Raju, narrator Smt. Gayatri, and committee members like Rammohan Rao, Gummadi Gopalakrishna, Mandava Satish, and Madhusudhanaraju Bikbabu.

TDP Janardhan welcomed guests by praising NTR's film industry standards and political watershed—dividing Andhra history into pre- and post-NTR eras. For NTR's birth centenary, the committee is publishing books, launching an NTR YouTube Channel, and promoting his principles for future generations.

Purandeswari's keynote spotlighted the 1984 Democratic Protection Movement as NTR's defining stand against defections aimed at toppling his government. She credited the opposition, media, and democrats' efforts for birthing the Anti-Defection Law via the 52nd Constitutional Amendment in 1985. She thanked the committee for spreading NTR's ideology, noting her role in placing his Parliament statue and issuing a commemorative gold coin as a personal tribute to her father.

Mothkupalli Narasimhulu recalled NTR's support enabling his six MLA terms and ministerial role, portraying him as a poverty survivor championing the needy. Nandamuri Ramakrishna shared family hardships amid 1984 turmoil—his mother's cancer battle and NTR's post-heart surgery defiance of rest to lead the masses. Smt. Gayatri was felicitated for her narration by Purandeswari and Janardhan. Hundreds of NTR fans and film personalities packed the venue, ensuring a resounding success.
