A major breakthrough has been achieved in Hyderabad as the Telangana High Court and the Cyberabad Police took firm action against several YouTubers and individuals accused of running a defamatory digital campaign against HK Group, which operates HK Permanent Makeup Clinic and HK Hospitals.
Strong Legal Action Against Defamation
An FIR registered under No. 692/2025 at KPHB Police Station in June led to a comprehensive probe uncovering a coordinated digital conspiracy aimed at damaging the institution’s reputation. Investigators verified compelling digital proof including online chats and call data, confirming that the defamatory content was part of a planned smear campaign.
The main accused, Poornima Pinneti, Managing Director of Wellness of Women Pvt. Ltd., has been identified as the alleged mastermind, with assistance from YouTubers Siripuram Srinivas (Srinu65), Anand Laveti, Pawan Kumar (Pawan Ra Talks), Arun Gunna (Zombie Revolt), Pavani Mahesh (MC Talks), and reporter Patricia Naidu. Together, they produced and distributed multiple false and misleading videos targeting HK Group and its Directors.
As confirmed by SHO Rajashekar Reddy, a chargesheet has now been filed, and the accused face charges under Sections 351(2), 351(4), 352, 353(1), and 61(2) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) and Sections 66(D) & 67 of the IT Act, 2000, which pertain to criminal conspiracy, digital defamation, deception, and online harassment.

In Writ Petition No. 15451 of 2025, filed by HK Group and its Director Mrs. Ajmira Harshita Naik, the Telangana High Court directed YouTube India and Meta Platforms to take down over 100 defamatory videos regarding the matter. Furthermore, the Court directed police authorities to prevent the publication of any future defamatory material against HK Group. Legal observers have called this a landmark judgment in combating online defamation and misinformation campaigns.
