Star actor Vijay Deverakonda has added another prestigious milestone to his journey by carrying the spirit of modern India all the way from Hyderabad to New York. His remarkable presence at the Empire State Building stood as a symbolic moment in India’s growing cultural influence worldwide.

Serving as the Grand Marshal at the 43rd Annual World’s Largest India Day Parade, organized by the Federation of Indian Associations (FIA), Vijay walked the vibrant streets of Madison Avenue in New York, USA. What made the event truly memorable was his participation along with his family, making it a proud moment for the Telugu diaspora.

The historic parade drew an estimated 600,000 attendees, cementing its reputation as the biggest India Day Parade in the world. The celebrations began on a solemn note, with heartfelt tributes to the victims of the Pahalgam terrorist attack and the Ahmedabad plane crash.

For Vijay, this recognition goes beyond stardom — it represents him as the voice of the common man and a global figure celebrating India’s Independence Day with both the Indian and Telugu communities settled in the U.S.

This iconic parade, held every year since 1981, continues to be a symbol of Indian pride, unity, and cultural strength on the world stage.
