The Telugu film industry is in shock following the demise of legendary actor Kota Srinivasa Rao, who made immense contributions to Indian cinema. Megastar Chiranjeevi, who shared a long professional and personal bond with Kota Srinivasa Rao, has expressed his profound condolences on the veteran actor's passing.
Chiranjeevi's Heartfelt Tribute to a Versatile Genius
Chiranjeevi shared his deep grief, stating, "Kota Srinivasa Rao Garu was the epitome of versatile acting, a complete form of distinctive performance. He was a great actor, a legendary character artist. Our acting journeys both began with the film Pranam Khareedu. Over a long acting career, our bond grew immensely intertwined. His performance on screen was magnificent. Personally, his witty humor was also wonderful. Whenever he was on set for shooting, time would pass very enthusiastically."
He further emphasized Kota's unparalleled range: "There was no character he couldn't do. He was proficient in all dialects. He was a great actor who came from the theater stage and carved a special place for himself in the film industry. I have a bond of many films with him. Every film was special."
Chiranjeevi lamented the irreplaceable loss: "The news that Kota Srinivasa Rao Garu is no more today is not just a loss for his family, but an irreparable loss for the industry. I don't think an actor who can portray such diverse roles will come again. I pray to God that his soul finds peace. I extend my deepest condolences to his family members."
