Recent reports speculating that actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu and director Raj Nidimoru are planning to move in together, and are actively searching for properties, have been swiftly denied by Samantha's manager. The manager, when contacted, firmly labeled the claims as "Rumours."
The speculation gained traction following a report from Pinkvilla, which cited an unnamed source. This source allegedly claimed that "Samantha and Raj are considering moving in together and are scouting for properties. They have the intent to live together and are working in that direction." The same source also asserted that Raj officially divorced Shhyamali in 2022 and that his relationship with Samantha developed after their collaboration on the series "Citadel." Furthermore, the source reportedly clarified that previous sightings of Raj with a child were misleading, stating he does not have a daughter and the child seen with him is actually his co-director Krishna D.K.'s daughter.
However, the definitive one-word denial from Samantha's manager aims to put an end to these circulating rumors.
The renewed focus on their relationship comes after Samantha's recent social media activity. On Wednesday, she celebrated her foray into film production with the release of her film "Subham." Her Instagram post included a thank you note, "Thank you for watching, feeling and celebrating SUBHAM with us! Our very first step—fuelled by heart, madness and the belief that new, fresh stories matter!" The post featured a couple of pictures, one of which showed her and Raj posing near a large "Subham" poster. Another image depicted Raj assisting her during her cameo as Maatha, and a third showed her seated closely with him on an airplane, further fueling fan speculation about their closeness.
Raj Nidimoru is known to have been married to Shhyamali De, an assistant director who has worked on various projects, including those with Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra and Vishal Bhardwaj. She also contributed as a creative consultant for films like "Rang De Basanti" and "Omkara."
Samantha, on her part, was previously married to actor Naga Chaitanya in 2017, with their divorce finalized after four years. Naga Chaitanya is currently married to actress Sobhita Dhulipala.
