Pawan Kalyan Returns to Hyderabad with Son Mark Shankar After Singapore Fire Incident; Expresses Gratitude
Actor and Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan has returned to Hyderabad with his 8-year-old son, Mark Shankar, following a distressing fire incident at his son's school in Singapore. The family, including Pawan Kalyan's wife Anna Lezhneva, arrived at the Hyderabad airport on the night of April 12th, where they were met by security personnel. Videos of their arrival have since circulated widely online.
Captured in the footage, Pawan Kalyan is seen tenderly carrying Mark Shankar as they exited the airport, with his wife by their side. He then carefully assisted his son into their vehicle before departing, opting not to engage with the waiting media or onlookers.
Shortly after reaching home, Pawan Kalyan took to social media to express his heartfelt gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Prime Minister's Office for their prompt response to the situation. He shared that he was in the Uttarandhra Tribal region, participating in the Adavi Thalli Baata program and launching NDA-backed development projects, when he received the alarming news.
In his online statement, Pawan Kalyan emphasized that the Prime Minister's swift action provided immense support to his family and the other families affected by the incident. He concluded his message by saying, "I once again thank you for your thoughtful and compassionate intervention, which has given immense strength to my family during this challenging time."
During the initial reports, Pawan Kalyan informed reporters that a fire had erupted at a summer camp in Singapore, resulting in injuries to several children and tragically, the loss of one life. His son, Mark Shankar, sustained burns on his hands and thighs and underwent a bronchoscopy procedure.
Pawan Kalyan also voiced his concern regarding the potential long-term health implications of smoke inhalation for his son. He immediately traveled to Singapore to be with Mark. Mark Shankar is the youngest child of Pawan Kalyan and Anna Lezhneva, who are also parents to daughter Polena.
