On the auspicious occasion of Telangana State Formation Day, the official anthem of the state was unveiled to the public. Composed by the renowned MM Keeravani and penned by the esteemed poet Andesri, the anthem is a tribute to the spirit and identity of Telangana.
The unveiling ceremony, held amidst the celebrations on June 2nd, marked the first public performance of the anthem, resonating with pride and fervor among the people of Telangana.
It is noteworthy that the Government of Telangana had earlier announced its approval of "Jaya Jayahe Telangana" as the official state anthem. This announcement was met with anticipation and excitement, with the anthem being touted as a symbol of Telangana's unique identity and heritage.
Notably, two versions of the anthem have been approved by the authorities. While one version spans 2 minutes and 30 seconds, the other extends to a duration of 13 minutes and 30 seconds. This diversity in length provides flexibility in its usage for various occasions and settings.
