The consistent efforts of Hyderabad District Election Officers have finally yielded some results. The recently concluded 2024 parliamentary elections saw a notable increase in voter participation, with the percentage of votes rising by 3.26 percent compared to the 2019 elections in the city.
Despite the migration of settlers from other areas back to their respective regions, Hyderabad district saw a significant uptick in voter engagement. In 2019, the voter turnout stood at 45.65 percent, a figure that surged to 48.91 percent in the 2024 elections, showcasing the growing civic consciousness among the electorate.
Expressing gratitude to the voters for their active participation, District Election Officer Ronald Rose acknowledged the pivotal role played by the community in shaping the democratic process.
