The latest figures released by Chief Election Officer Vikas Raj on Tuesday reveal that Telangana state witnessed a significant voter turnout of 66.3%.
According to the state Election Commission of India, out of a total of 3,32,16,348 eligible electors, 2,20,24,806 voters actively participated in the electoral process.
The voting took place across 35,809 polling stations, with an additional 2,10,771 voters casting their ballots through various alternative voting methods such as Voter Facilitation Centers, Postal Voting Centers, and Home Voting.
The state of Telangana went for polling on May 13 for the 17 Lok Sabha seats and the results would be declared on June 4, 2024.
