Having admiration for a hero is understood but when in a foreign country one must always remember that he/she is the representative of India and must behave accordingly. However, fans of Nandamuri Balakrishna don’t seem to have that basic consciousness and that has ended in a rather embarrassing situation to them and Telugus as well.

A video clip has gone viral and going by the looks of it, this incident has occurred in the UK. In their own style, Balayya fans tore papers and threw them in front of the screen and within no time, the staff member came with a policeman and stopped the show. Pointing to the whole litter, in his own words the staff member said “Sorry, I know a lot of you came here to watch a movie, fairly enough to have a great evening, I understand that. But, don’t blame on me, blame on those who actually were doing the confusion. This situation never happened before. It’s not the first time we exhibit Telugu movies or any other Indian movies. But sorry, this is not acceptable. This is not the first time we exhibited these movies, we never had this problem before. So, I will ask you to leave, please. I’m really sorry”

The accompanying policeman requested the audience also to leave saying “Everybody now has been asked to leave, so please make your way out of the cinema.” Given the firmness the foreign countries have, it is impossible for the show to have continued but it is also a lesson for us to be conscious about where we are and how we should be.
