Players and enthusiasts yet again proclaimed Dallas is the destination for any sporting event. The tournament was organized by the North American Telugu Association. The tournament was conducted as part of the run up towards the NATA Convention happening in Dallas on June 30, July 1st and 2nd, 2023.

The tournament was one of the best organized tournaments under the leadership of Chinasatyam Veernapu (NATA Convention Sports Chair), alongside countless volunteers.

26 teams with over 500+ players and volunteers participated in a tournament conducted with finesse and energetic attributions. The venue was Little Elm Lighthouse Beach Volleyball courts. Women players showed what all termed paramount enthusiasm and discipline in every game. The organizers felt the games were no less than world class. The organizers ensured there was no disruption and provided all logistical support so all players could enjoy the spirit of the game. As some teams showed their zeal to win the games, some showed the essence of coming along as a team and participating in the fun filled tournament.

The games progressed with full exhilaration. Cheering, determination and a winning spirit immaculated the proceedings.

Speaking to the media was NATA president Dr. Sridhar Reddy Korsapati welcomed the players to the sporting tournament. He mentioned sports have always been a special focus to the Telugu community nationwide and requested players to show the true spirit of the game. NATA Convener NMS Reddy speaking at the occasion thanked all teams for registering the maiden sport event and provided updates on the upcoming convention. Sports chair Chinasatyam Veernapu thanked NATA convention team for spearheading the convention and provided an update on a plethora of sporting events in the upcoming weeks and requested all to participate. Little Elm council member Tony Singh welcomed all the members and stated Little Elm is a friendly and growing city in the DFW metro area and wished NATA a grand success for the upcoming convention.

Besides these there were several co-chairs and volunteers including Vamsi Chada, Raju Chekuri, Venkat Kakarla, Harsha Pindi, Murali Kondepati, Abhiram Sannapareddy, Jana Patibandla, Madhumathi Vysyaraju, Chandra Jalasutram, Chaitanya Telikuntla, Srikanth, Indu Pancharpula, Gayatri, Parimala Marpaka, Madhavi Lokireddy, Raghu Guttikonda and others who provided logistical support for a great showdown.

Later Chinasatyam Veernapu thanked volunteers, sponsors, players and media partners (TV9, TeluguVox, Radio Surabhi) for promoting the event, Swagath Biryanis for sponsoring breakfast, DMR constructions for water and snacks, Little Elm for providing the facility.
