'Geethanjali Malli Vachindi', the horror-comedy, was released in theatres in April. Presented by Kona Venkat and produced by MVV Cinema and Kona Film Corporation, the film is now heading to OTT.
Aha Video will make the film available for streaming from May 8.
Starring Anjali, Satya, Srinivas Reddy, Shakalaka Shankar and Satyam Rajesh, the film is most likely to be a hit on OTT. "Writer Kona Venkat and director Shiva Turlapati come with a template-ish horror-comedy that is saved by genuinely funny scenes, especially in the second half. The dialogues, the eccentric situations and the quirky plot-turns make this film an enjoyable watch," we opined in our review.
The film is a sequel to the 2014 film 'Geethanjali'. It would have worked better in theatres had there been a surprise factor. The genre should have been slightly different as well. Despite a host of comedians on board, 'GMV' couldn't reach its potential.
