EPIC - FIRST SEMESTER reunites Anand Deverakonda and Vaishnavi Chaitanya after their hit Baby, marking the directorial debut of Aditya Haasan. Produced by Suryadevara Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya under Sithara Entertainments and Fortune 4 Cinemas, and presented by Srikara Studios, the film features music by Hesham Abdul Wahab, cinematography by Azeem Mohammad, and production design by Avinash Kolla.
The title glimpse kicks off at a London students’ convocation, where Vaishnavi shares her vision of an ideal partner. Anand then surprises in a striking look inspired by revolutionary poet-singer Gaddar. A witty line teases the story as blending a Sekhar Kammula-esque hero with a Sandeep Reddy Vanga-style edge for the heroine’s dynamic. It also revives the iconic Rohan character from 90s TV lore as the lead.
