The much-awaited film Euphoria, from blockbuster director Gunasekhar, is being mounted by Neelima Guna and Yuktha Guna under the Guna Handmade Films banner, with presentation by Smt. Ragini Guna. Headlined by a fresh ensemble and built around a contemporary concept, the film is designed to connect with both youth and family audiences.
Euphoria features Bhumika Chawla, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Sara Arjun, Nasser, Rohith, Vignesh Gavireddy, Likhita Yalamanchali, Addala Prudhvi Raj, Kalpa Latha, Sai Sreenika Reddy, Ashrita Vemuganti, Mathew Varghese, Adarsh Balakrishna, Ravi Prakash, Naveena Reddy, and Likith Naidu in key roles. Earlier‑released glimpses and the song Fly High have already drawn an encouraging response, hinting at an emotionally charged, youth‑centric narrative.
Originally planned as a Christmas release on December 25, 2025, the team has now opted for a strategic shift owing to a crowded festive line‑up, choosing to avoid box‑office congestion. Euphoria will now have its grand worldwide theatrical release on February 6, 2026, giving the film a clearer window and stronger showcasing opportunity.
Announcing the new date, the makers clarified that they wanted to ensure a better release platform for a film of this scale and promise a thought‑provoking, impactful theatrical experience, backed by an aggressive promotional campaign leading up to February. The move is positioned as a quality‑over‑clash decision, allowing audiences to discover the film without distraction.
Two decades after their iconic collaboration on Okkadu, Gunasekhar and Bhumika Chawla reunite for Euphoria, with the director reportedly writing a powerful, layered role specifically with Bhumika in mind. The film is pitched as a meaningful, message‑oriented drama with appeal across age groups, supported by music from Kaala Bhairava and cinematography by Praveen K. Pothan.
