Indian passport holders cannot avail much of visa-on-arrival options in many countries and there are only a few dozen countries one can travel through this means. Now there are some reasons to cheer for Indians. Qatar has reportedly reinstated its visa-on-arrival policies, instead of the Hayya card which the Middle Eastern nation had issued during the FIFA World Cup.
This good news also holds for 95 nationalities, including Indians, who will now again be able to opt for Visas-on-Arrival. It makes it all the more exciting since they can explore new, dazzling attractions that have been inaugurated as part of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.
For Indians, Pakistanis and Thai nationality citizens again a free visa on arrival in Qatar for a maximum period of 30 days or based on hotel reservation is offered based on the conditions such as valid Passport for at least six months, confirmed return tickets as well as confirmed hotel reservations made only through 'Discover Qatar' website. Any Hotel reservations from other portals are invalid.
Haya Al-Noami, the Head of Promotions Sector, Qatar Tourism, added that after a truly remarkable period of celebrations, they feel proud in hosting this year’s most memorable moments. The country feels that its iconic attractions would draw more visitors in the coming months and years.
